What I'm doing right now
This page is a snapshot, not a feed. When it goes stale, the commit history above will show it, which is the honest version of a status page.
Open to work
Senior roles in technical operations, customer success, service delivery, and field engineering. Remote first, or onsite across the GTA and Southern Ontario. I am also taking consulting work in monitoring and alerting rebuilds, network design and cleanup, industrial systems support, and automation that removes a manual step.
Building
- endpointwatch - live-response endpoint monitoring for Windows with plain-English change explanations.
- rackpulse - health monitoring and provisioning for older Dell PowerEdge hosts on ESXi 6.7.
- pinggrid - network reachability dashboard built for a terminal-first workflow.
- eagleeye2 - OSINT research platform with a face verification layer and an ethics gate.
- This site - static, no trackers, and the numbers on the homepage are refreshed by a scheduled Action rather than typed by hand.
Studying
Offensive security, as a working operator rather than a collector of certificates. TryHackMe and HackTheBox labs are ongoing, and OSCP is in progress, not completed. That distinction matters and I keep it straight in anything I publish.
Writing
Field notes from real operations, roughly one deep post at a time. Recent pieces: alert severity that people actually respect and monitoring a homelab you cannot always reach.
The lab
A rack that has to keep working while I am not standing in front of it: ESXi on older PowerEdge hardware, a NAS, a Kubernetes node, wired 40GbE between the heavy hitters, and Tailscale for access from anywhere. Tools and gear are listed on the uses page.
Not doing
No crypto, no dropshipping, no growth-hacking experiments. If it does not make an operation measurably more reliable, it is not on the list.
